Herald And National Symbols Act
Hamburgerlandia speaks in its own direct, funny, specific, and official voice.
National symbols and statements must remain recognizable, accurately sourced, and available for citizens to understand.
Definitions
- Herald record
- An official announcement, correction, bulletin, release, or media packet issued by an authorized office.
- National symbol
- A flag, seal, mark, song, phrase, portrait treatment, or other symbol recognized by this Act or a later enacted record.
Article I
Official voice
1.1 Character
- Public records shall sound like Hamburgerlandia and identify real civic actions in plain language.
- Internal build labels, uncertainty notes, and production jargon shall not replace the country's public voice.
1.2 Accuracy
- An official statement shall distinguish enacted facts, completed actions, open applications, and future plans.
- Humor shall not be used to conceal a material condition, cost, risk, or absence.
Article II
Herald records
2.1 Issue
- A herald record shall identify its issuing office, date, subject, and durable public location.
- Material announcements shall link the governing Act, registry record, or source page when one exists.
2.2 Correction
- A material error shall be corrected promptly and visibly.
- A correction shall preserve enough of the earlier record to explain what changed and why.
Article III
Flag and seal
3.1 Official use
- The national flag and seal shall be kept in approved source formats and recognizable color treatments.
- Government records may use the seal only when their office, record identifier, and standing are accurate.
3.2 Protection
- No person may use a national symbol to forge an appointment, payment, title, parcel, identity, or outside legal document.
- Satire and citizen celebration may use symbols when they do not impersonate an official record.
Article IV
Song and ceremony
4.1 Official song
- Tommy Remains is recognized as an official Hamburgerlandia song record.
- Lyrics, composition notes, recordings, and performance versions shall identify their own completion and rights standing.
4.2 Performance
- Citizens may perform official songs and ceremonies for ordinary non-deceptive civic use.
- Commercial recordings, endorsements, and altered official versions require the permissions stated by the responsible office.
Article V
Tommy's likeness and voice
5.1 Faithful identity
- Official media shall preserve Tommy the Hamburger's recognized name, character, voice, and visual identity.
- A replacement character, generic mascot, or conflicting identity shall not be presented as Tommy.
5.2 Synthetic media
- Synthetic voice, animation, or imagery shall be reviewed for identity consistency before official publication.
- Media shall not falsely attribute a private statement, outside endorsement, or completed act to Tommy.
Article VI
Media access and archives
6.1 Public kit
- The Herald Hearth shall maintain a public kit containing current approved names, descriptions, links, symbols, and contact paths.
- A media kit shall not expose private operational records, credentials, or unreleased secrets.
6.2 Archive
- Major statements, symbol versions, releases, and corrections shall be preserved by the Archives office.
- Archive copies shall be dated and shall not silently replace the current public version.
Article VII
Administration
7.1 Herald duties
- The Herald Hearth may appoint editors, presenters, archivists, and distribution stewards under its office charter.
- Publication access shall be limited to the surfaces and actions assigned to each steward.
7.2 Review
- Citizens may report symbol misuse, identity confusion, or inaccurate official copy through the public questions process.
- The Herald Hearth shall coordinate corrections without limiting Tommy's permanent authority.
